Slow Morning, Busy Afternoon

This morning, after getting up and getting ready, I went downstairs to get things unlocked and etc. Once I had finished with that, I sat at the kitchen table until the Ruckmans came down for breakfast. After breakfast, we had our devotions. For the rest of the morning, we did not have much planned; so, I went up to my room for a while.

I spent a good while in my room until it started getting close to lunchtime. We had tuna sandwiches; then, we got ready to go visit Pastor Augustine in Shama. We were able to have a good time visiting with him and his wife, who is our Fante teacher. We got to look at the land that was recently purchased for them to build a church building, and the project for their building will begin soon. Once we had finished there, we headed back toward Takoradi.

Before we went home, the Ruckmans had some issues with their phones that needed to be fixed at the mall. While we were at the mall, we did a little bit of grocery shopping and then bought some fruit on our way to the house. When we got home, the power was off; but thankfully it did not stay off long. After a little bit of a break, Mrs. Angie got started on supper. We had chicken sandwiches and French fries. After supper, Bro. Ruckman and I cleaned up while Mrs. Angie visited with the neighbor girl for a while. Once the neighbor girl left, we finished watching the movie from last night.

I am now sitting in the living room finishing up the blog in the ac before I go up to my room to get my water heater turned on and my ac turned on. Bro. Ruckman is working on the puzzle in the living room also.
