September 2025
We want to thank you for your faithful prayers as we continue preparing to return to the mission field in Ghana. These past weeks have been full of blessings and opportunities, and we are excited to share a few highlights with you.
Our recent missionary road trip took us through Louisiana and Texas, where we preached, presented our ministry, and enjoyed sweet fellowship with churches that have supported us for many years. God gave us a wonderful turnout at a book signing in San Augustine. I had the privilege of giving the gospel to a few people who came to the event simply to ask about salvation. Laura also connected with ladies at a retreat in Wylie, Texas. Each stop reminded us of God’s faithfulness and the importance of His people standing together for the gospel.
As we continue scheduling and traveling, every day brings us closer to our return to Ghana. From presenting in new churches to reconnecting with old friends, we are learning daily how to communicate the burden God has placed on our hearts and encourage others to join us in prayer and support. Deputation is busy work, but it has been joyful to see the Lord opening doors at every turn.
Another unique blessing was the opportunity to share on the Thrivetime Show with Clay Clark. This interview allowed us to speak to a wider audience about our new book, That’s My Goat – And Other Missionary Stories, as well as the calling God has placed on our family. We are praying that these stories point many to Christ and encourage believers to live faithfully.
Please continue to pray for open hearts as we travel, strength for our family during this season, and provision as we prepare for our return to Africa. We are deeply grateful for your prayers, encouragement, and partnership in the gospel.

I have really been enjoying the book, praying for wisdom, safety, and God’s blessings on each of you.
