Bonjour,
We did school this morning. In Skills and Development today, Danny had a bunch of different sounds to listen to and then try to guess what they were. Gilbert had to pause his DVD so that he could come guess with Danny. Then, Gilbert was upset that Danny was one subject ahead of him. After school, the kids went to play with the Luthers before lunch. I got one load of laundry put out. I got lunch ready and made some brownies.
Bonnie and I took a nap. The boys "rested" on the couch and then went outside at 3:00. When Bonnie woke up, I walked up to the Luthers with her. I talked to Julie for a little bit while the kids played. We headed home before it got dark. Then, we worked on supper. Bonnie and Danny always like to help in the kitchen. I hate to discourage them from learning to do things in the kitchen, but sometimes I feel like I'm going to go crazy with so much "help." We managed to get supper on the table, helpers and all.
We talked to Joe today. He spent the day packing our stuff. He said that he doesn't think they can get everything on my list in on this trip, but we will be tickled with whatever he is able to bring.
The kids are all in their sleeping bags on the floor of my bedroom. The window unit is in that bedroom; they want to take advantage of the cooler air while Daddy is away. I told them that they couldn't all sleep in the bed with me because I wouldn't get any sleep. So, Gilbert came up with the sleeping bag idea. We will see how it goes.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
