Bonjour,

Joe took the kids to school.  Then, he went with one of the men in the church to check on prices for putting the ceiling in the church building.
We went into town to run errands.  After we went to the post office, a lady in our church called.  She is a Customs official at the port.  Sometimes there are vehicles that people have shipped in, and then they cannot afford to pay the duty to get them out of port.  So, they sell the vehicle to pay their duty fees.  Joe had asked her to keep an eye out on those vehicles for us.  Eventually, we would like to get something that gets better gas mileage.  We do not usually carry our passports with us around town.  Technically, we were supposed to have those to be allowed to go inside the gate at the port.  But, she did some talking and was able to get us in.  The vehicle was all locked up; so, we could just see it from the outside.  After thinking it over for a little bit, we told her that we were not ready to get anything right now.
We had planned to go grocery shopping but just had time to get a few quick things before going to get the kids from school.  Gilbert had been playing outside just before school got out, and his little cheeks were bright red.  He takes after his mother in that regard.  Everyone had a good day.
When we got home, Joe took the kids swimming.  I got supper ready.
After supper, Joe went with one of the men in the church to try to talk to the guard who had something to do with trying to break into our house.  As soon as the guy saw them coming, he jumped up and took off running.  He is definitely guilty!!
Danny fell asleep on the floor in their bedroom after supper.  I played the big bad wolf with Gilbert and Bonnie.  Then, we watched Ramona and Beezus.  As we were sitting there, we were chewing gum.  I was blowing bubbles.  Bonnie said, "Mom, watch this!  I'm going to spit a bubble at you."  She spit her whole piece of gum out trying to "spit a bubble."
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
