Bonjour!

This morning, Danny seems to be feeling better. He is still a little congested when he first wakes up.

We went into town to check the PO box. We had two packages to be picked up at the main post office. We went there next. We spent the rest of the morning at the post office. I have never gone in with Joe before. So, we all went in today. I wanted to see the process for myself. It is quite a process!

One woman takes the package slip and finds the package. Then, the lady at the next window opens the package in front of you. She writes down each item. (She has to ask what about half of the things are.) Then, she takes the list and looks up each item. She writes down a price and comes up with an amount that we owe. We paid less to receive two large packages today than we did one small package last time. It is an interesting system, to say the least!

After the time at the post office, we were ready to go home! We stopped to make a payment on the phone bill and then stopped at the bakery. Then, we headed home.

We had fun going through the packages this afternoon. Some of the things are Christmas presents for the boys. We will wrap those and put them under the tree. One package had several DVDs in it; so, we watched one of those tonight.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
