Bonjour,

Joe went visiting this morning. They had some good visits.

When Joe took Romeo back to the Anyama church, Max told them some sad
news. For the past eight years, the church has been taking care of two
girls who are orphans. They have lived with Max and Jeanette for the
past six years. Today, their relatives came and wanted all of the
girls' paperwork. They said that the girls would never be coming back.
Max said that it was their dying mother's wish that they be taken care
of by the church; he wishes now that he had that in writing.

Lenell is sick with malaria. Max and Joe went to tell her about the
orphans. She was very sad.

Please pray for Margie Engelhart's dad. He had surgery yesterday to
have a pace maker put in. During the surgery, the wire punctured his
heart. He is in ICU. The doctors said that they would wait for 24
hours for the bleeding to stop; then, they will try to put the pace
maker in again.

Everyone took a nap except for Joe. He worked in the office.

The boys helped Daddy wash the car this evening. They had a great time.

Bonnie got upset while I was trying to get supper ready. Daddy came in
to rescue her, but she still wasn't too happy.

I am going to start teaching my class again tomorrow. Lenell has been
teaching for me. I have been looking over my lesson.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
