Bonjour,
Joe went visiting with Dan this morning. They had some good visits.
We had nineteen for Bible Club this morning. About twenty more kids came after we finished. They all played outside until it was time to go home.
The kids and I have been working on cleaning the house today. At lunch time, Gilbert reported that they were having a race in their bedroom to get it cleaned up. Gilbert was telling all that Danny and Bonnie had accomplished. I asked him what he was doing. He said, "I'm telling them what to do, and I'm helping them." Later, he reported that Danny was the winner.
This afternoon, there were some boys playing soccer out in the field. Some girls were playing over by the tire swing. Bonnie went down and was playing with the girls. In a few minutes, Joe went out on the porch. Bonnie had those girls sitting in a line and was having her own Bible Club. She was telling them to sing but kept changing the song right in the middle of the song that they were singing.
Gilbert came down with pink eye today. We got him started on the medicine right away. We will see how he is doing tomorrow.
Joe went to the Watchnight Service. We have about an hour to go before midnight.
Pray for Joe's parents as they are on their way here. They should arrive in Accra tomorrow night around 8:00 PM. Pray that we won't run into a lot of traffic tomorrow on our five-hour trip to Accra. We are planning to leave right after the morning service. If Gilbert isn't doing better, it might just be Joe going by himself.
Happy New Year!
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
