Bonjour,

I didn’t get an e-mail sent yesterday.  I wasn’t feeling very well, but I am feeling better today.

Yesterday, we did school in the morning.  Joe went into town to see about getting the money for the new head.

We got our mail from the past several months.  There was a birthday card in there for Danny with stickers and a little puzzle. (His birthday was in October).  Bonnie wanted to know where her puzzle was.  I told her that her birthday would be coming in a few months and that maybe she would get one then.

After naps, we had supper.  Joe and the kids went to church with the Luthers, and I stayed home.

Today, we did school.  Joe went into town.  He was able to get the money out and pay to have the parts brought from Accra.  Maybe we will have a working vehicle by next week!

Please pray for the missionaries who are still in Ivory Coast.  Things have really heated up there.  The Matt Litson family, Sara Bascue, Michelle Geiger, and Lenell Smith are scheduled to fly out on March 1.  Pray for safety and that they will be able to get to the airport when the time comes.  Pray also for the Dan Post family who is still there as well.

I made pizza for supper tonight.  After supper, Bonnie wanted me to color with her.  So, the boys decided to color too.  It is interesting to color with Bonnie.  She colors on one page for about two seconds and is then ready to turn the page.  I didn’t get much accomplished.  She told me that she had a noisy crayon.  I asked her what kind of noise it made.  She said, “A crayon noise, Mom,” like I should have known about those crayon noises!

We talked to my dad on the phone for a few minutes.  Please pray for him as well, Adrian Van Manen.  He is running for City Council in Oklahoma City – Ward 6.  The elections are on Tuesday.

Then, the kids were marching through the house all wearing a pair of Joe’s shoes.  Now, they are listening to a Pepi and Juan story before bed time.  (Joe listened to the record when he was a boy.  He gave the record to my dad and asked him to put in on a CD for us.  The CD came with the mail yesterday).

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
