Bonjour,

Joe went visiting this morning. They had some good visits. He took
Romeo out for lunch.

I tried to get the boys down early for naps today. Danny went to sleep
right away, but Gilbert was still awake when Joe got home. It started
raining, and Gilbert doesn't like the loud sound of the rain on the
roof. So, he took a nap with Daddy until the power went off; then, they
were both awake.

This afternoon, we went to Bingerville. Bob Mach is in Ghana and asked
Joe to pick up someone at the airport tonight. We went to the Machs'
house first. Joe left the children and I there with Becky. He took
Bobby and Marilyn with him since they know the lady that was coming in.

I had a good time of fellowship with Becky. It had been awhile since we
had seen them.

Morganne Mach is sick. She has been running a fever and is now coming
down with bronchitis.

The lady arrived safely, but her luggage did not arrive. They had to
fill out the paperwork for that before heading home. We all ate supper
together. Morganne was coughing a lot and having trouble breathing. We
waited while Becky called the doctor to see if we needed to take her in
tonight. He told Becky to give her another medicine to help open the
airways. If she isn't better by the morning, he wants to see her.

We got home a little after 22:00. Both boys went to bed fairly quickly,
but Bonnie wanted to play awhile. Joe isn't feeling well this evening
either; please pray that he would feel better in the morning and that he
isn't coming down with malaria.

Pray for Benji Smith in Burkina Faso. He is in a hospital there with
malaria. They were able to catch it quickly. Please pray that he will
respond well to the medications.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
