Bonjour!

This morning, I went to visitation. When I left home, the left front tire was low. So, I stopped at a tire shop to have the tire filled. Then, just before we got to the church, the car started smoking and running very rough. We had our soul-winning meeting and then headed out to make some visits. The car would hardly run from visit to visit. I finally figured out that it was water in the fuel. I decided to put some rubbing alcohol in the tank to evaporate the water. The only trouble was, I could not find any rubbing alcohol. I had to go to seven different pharmacies before I found any. The man who went visiting with me was a little skeptical that the rubbing alcohol would do the trick. He kept telling me that the only way would be to take the tank off and clean it out. When I finally found the alcohol and put it in the tank, it was like a miracle cure. The car started running great as soon as the alcohol mixed with the fuel. Then, the break locked up, and I had to go to the mechanic to get the brakes worked on. Wow! What a day for the car! While they were working on the brakes, I found a fuel leak and had them fix that at the same time. The car ran great after all of that!

Gilbert had fun playing today. If I am writing or working at the computer, he wants to draw so that he will be “working” too.

Danny was awake all morning. I think he might have the bug that I had. He has been congested, clammy, and fussy. He doesn’t have a fever.

I worked on some things for my class and got the laundry caught up again.

A demain,
