Bonjour,

We arrived safely on Friday evening after seventeen hours in the air.

Friday was a very long day, but we survived! : )

The boys are slowly but surely getting adjusted to the time difference.

Danny has more teeth coming in; so that adds some extra excitement.

We arrived in the middle of the missions conference at our church, Central

Baptist Church in Center, Texas. Joe went to the service Friday evening.

Missions With the Consfords

Ghana Field Journal — Serving the Lord for Over 25 Years

These daily journal entries document the Consfords’ missionary life across Ivory Coast and Ghana. Over 1,630 entries capture the church planting, the hard days, the answered prayers, and the everyday reality of following God wherever He leads. Browse the full archive or join the Consfords as a prayer partner.

We all went on Saturday.

Sunday was a new experience for the boys. They have never seen that many

white people all at once before. They were a bit petrified!

Joe’s parents headed back to Houston this evening to pick up Mandy and her

three girls. Things are about to get very exciting around here.

Thank you for praying for our safety.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
