Bonjour,

This morning, we made another trip into town to get some sewing materials.  We needed Velcro to hang curtains on our window bars.  Joe, Papa, and the kids stayed in the car while Nana and I ventured into the market circle.  We checked at a little sewing store.  They did not know what Velcro was.  Nana had some on her shoe and showed it to them.  They told us that the sewing places did not have it but to try a shoe repair supply place.  We found a little booth like that inside the circle, and they had Velcro!  Then, we found some fabric for curtains.

When we got home, I worked on heating up the leftovers for lunch.  Joe, Papa, and the kids walked to the neighborhood "hardware store."  It is a 40-foot storage container that is used as a store.  They bought some corner molding to make picture frames for some posters that I got for Christmas.  The kids came back carrying it on their shoulders.

After naps, the guys worked on cutting plywood and molding for the picture frames.  I made some vanilla wafers to make banana pudding.  Then, I got supper ready.  Nana started some sewing.

After supper, we got ready for church.  The kids were excited to show Nana and Papa "their church."  We had a good time at church with twelve in attendance.

We had banana pudding when we got home.  The boys played with their remote controlled cars.  Papa made a ramp for them and taped it to the living room floor.  Joe and I have been sleeping on mattresses on the living room floor.  Danny asked, "Where are you going to sleep tonight?  Our ramp is in your spot."  We moved the ramp for bed time.

Today is my Dad's birthday; he is 62.  Happy Birthday, Dad!

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
