Bonjour,
This morning, Joe took me to the doctor. The boys stayed with the Litsons.
The doctor did another ultrasound. She said that the baby is doing very well. The due date has moved up to June 27. So, she will do the c-section sometime after June 10 now.
The doctor said that my blood pressure is a little low. She told me that when the top number drops below 100 that I should drink some coffee and eat something salty. I will have some blood work done before I go to see her again. My next appointment is April 11. She said that I look fine and she doesn’t think I am anemic, but the blood work will show that for sure. I am taking extra iron and calcium for the time being.
After we finished at the doctor’s office, we went to pick up our car papers. Joe had done all of the paperwork a couple weeks ago, but today was the day that we could pick them up. The vehicle is officially in Joe’s name now. He also got the necessary papers for crossing the border.
Joe will be taking a trip to Ghana with Dan and Jimmy Post. They will leave on Thursday and come back on Saturday. The boys and I are going to stay with Jennifer Post while Joe is gone.
We picked up some pizzas for supper and had the Litsons and Engelharts over for supper this evening.
When we got back this afternoon, Gilbert came running out to greet us. He said, “Do you feel better, Mommy? Did the doctor help you feel better?” When I told him that I felt better, he ran to tell Sarah that Mommy felt better.

We had a good time of fellowship with the Litsons and Engelharts this evening. Gilbert and Danny had fun playing with the girls. Danny got a little sleepy; so, I gave him his bath. After the company left, I gave Gilbert his bath. Danny was fussy; so, Joe was rocking him. Danny sat up and said, “I want Mommy.” It is funny that he has just taken off with sentences. He seems to be talking earlier than Gilbert did.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
