Bonjour,

We had a good day at church with almost 100 in attendance.  More children came today than we have had in a while.  There were thirty-seven in the six and under class for junior church today.  I made the mistake of giving out gum.  Some children were sharing their gum with their neighbor with gum all strung out between them.  One girl had herself all wrapped up in gum.  Maybe we should just stick with hard candy!  The helper was coloring a picture and then folding some of the children's papers into boats for them and was oblivious to all that was happening in the classroom.
After church, we heated up leftovers for lunch.  Then, it was nap time.
We had a big storm blow in just before church this evening.  The power went off for about twenty minutes but then came back on.  It is still raining.
Tonight, the boys were cleaning in the bathroom.  Gilbert sprayed Danny's head with the cleaning spray.  We put Danny in the tub and got it all washed off.  Thankfully it did not get in his eyes.  That bathroom is smelling very clean!!
Bonnie likes to play in the corner cupboard in the kitchen.  Yesterday, she said, "Mom, God is even in the cupboard!"
The kids are excited about July 4.  We are having a couple families over for lunch tomorrow.  They have been counting down to July 4.  Today, Gilbert asked, "Is tomorrow the fourth of July?"  We said, "Yes."  Then, he said, "So, is today the threeth?"  We told him that it was the third.  He said, "Oh yeah, the third."
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
