Bonjour,

We left the house at 7:00 this morning to head to Bassam. Lenell went
with us. We stopped to pick up Bobby Mach in town. He went to spend
the day with Jimmy Post for his birthday celebration. (Jimmy's
sixteenth birthday is tomorrow.)

Joe dropped us off at the Posts. He and Dan went to Bonoua to go
visiting. A new convert from Dan's church went with them. He was very
excited about going visiting. He works at the port in Abidjan and is in
charge of unloading all of the ships. He got saved as a result of
seeing the change in his cousin's life after she got saved. They had
some good visits today.

Gilbert and Danny had a great time playing with the boys. Justin and
Gilbert are buddies. Danny found plenty to keep himself entertained.
Someone put him in the airplane swing outside, and he just wanted to
stay there. He didn't even want to come in for lunch. I had to go get
him out.

Everyone took turns holding Bonnie. I brought the playpen. She did get
a couple short naps in. Nathan and Isaac both really like to hold her.

Lenell and I helped Jennifer get things ready for fajitas. That was
what Jimmy had requested for lunch. The guys grilled the meat when they
got home. Lunch was delicious. We had cake and homemade icecream for
dessert.

Around 16:00, we headed into Abidjan. Dan wanted to take the boys to
the go-cart place for Jimmy's birthday. Lenell, Bonnie, and I went to
get a few groceries. Jennifer wanted to stay to watch the boys ride the
go-carts. They all had a blast. Joe rode too. He took a turn with
Gilbert and Danny; they both thought that it was great.

Joe took everyone out for pizza for supper. We all had a good time of
fellowship. There was a place for the kids to play while the food was
being prepared; that was nice.

We got home at 21:00. Everyone is tired and ready for bed except for
Bonnie. She is still awake.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
