Bonjour,
Joe and Dan crossed the border this morning. Joe was able to get the car insurance in the border town. So, he didn’t go on into Bassam with Dan. When Joe came back across the border, he had to get a meningitis shot since he was in Ivory Coast for a couple hours. He said that the line of people entering Ghana was about 1/4 mile long. He had to wait quite a while to find a ride because there were so many people heading this way. He rode with some Ivorians and had an opportunity to witness to a few of them. He got back home about 4:00 this afternoon. Pray for Dan as he heads back to Ghana tomorrow.
I did school with the kids this morning. They had a little trouble getting started after having a couple days off. But, we made it through.
Bonnie had a rough morning. She kept crying over every little thing. We went round and round.
Everyone lay down at nap time, but no one went to sleep. Bonnie was up for a while and then took about a thirty minute nap around 3:30. Danny swallowed a coin this afternoon. I don’t know why he had it in his mouth. I asked him how big it was, and he didn’t know. He was breathing fine; so, I guess he is okay.
The boys went up to play with the Luther kids about 4:00. After Joe had been home for a while, he took Bonnie up there because she wanted to go play with the brothers.
We had pizza for supper. The kids went to bed early tonight.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
