Bonjour,

The strikes continue. President Gbagbo is not in Abidjan right now. He
is up north campaigning for the elections which are scheduled to take
place on November 30. Nothing will be resolved until he returns. This
afternoon, we heard of some barricades being set up in the roads by taxi
drivers.

Things are still calm in Anyama and Belleville. Joe and the boys went
into Anyama this morning. They got a few things at the little grocery
store there.

There was supposed to be a workshop for Sunday school teachers and
helpers in Bingerville tomorrow, but it has been postponed due to the
taxi strikes and the barricades being set up.

This afternoon, the children and I took a nap. Bonnie was up most of
the night again last night. After naps, the boys went swimming with
Joe. Bonnie and I went for a walk with Margie. I put Bonnie in the
baby sling; she slept the whole time.

Danny has two more teeth coming in. Tonight, Gilbert said, "Let me look
in your mouth, Danny. Oh, poor dear!" Sometimes, he is very sweet to
Danny; other times, they don't get along too well. : )

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
