Bonjour,
This morning, the car wouldn’t start. Brother Luther came down to try to jump start it. It wasn’t the battery though; it was the starter. Joe took the starter off and took it into town to have it rebuilt. He came back and put the starter back on, and it fired right up. There are still a few other things that need to be done, but at least it is running for the moment.
During breakfast, the boys were talking about things that would be in Heaven and things that wouldn’t be in Heaven. Gilbert said, “There won’t be any dirt in Heaven, just gold.” Danny said, “There won’t be any sickness in Heaven.” Then, Danny said, “There won’t be any worms in Heaven.” Joe said, “How will we catch fish without any worms?” Without hesitation Danny replied, “With ham!”
April has a Bible club for the kids in the neighborhood. The kids went to that this morning. Then, they played with the Luther kids until lunch time. I worked on laundry most of the morning.
We invited the Luthers for supper tonight. I made pizza this afternoon. We had a good time of fellowship with the Luthers and April.
Bonnie is reading me a story. I keep getting in trouble for not listening. Each page so far has said, “Help! Help, Mommy! I am stuck.”
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
