Bonjour,

This morning, the children and I went to the Anyama church. Joe and
Romeo went on to Belleville. There were 67 in attendance there this
morning. They had good services. Joe explained that we would be going
back to the States a little early. The people were sad.

Between Sunday school and church, Gilbert needed to go to the bathroom.
I walked down there with him. Someone had done their laundry and had it
hanging on a rope in the bathroom. One pair of underwear had fallen on
the floor. Gilbert saw the "Fruit of the Loom" on the underwear and
knew that he had some like that. He picked them up and said, "Look,
Mom! It's my underwear!" They were only about five sizes too big for
Gilbert.

When it came time for the offering, Gilbert and Danny both headed up
front to put their money in the basket. The music stopped before Danny
made it to the front because his money was stuck in his pocket. He came
back and said, "I don't need to put my money in the basket." He likes
to have money in his pocket. They sang another song after that.
Gilbert was going to go help Danny put his money in the basket. Gilbert
walked a few steps ahead of Danny and kept motioning for Danny to follow
him. Danny finally got up to the front and put his money in. Then,
they ran back to where I was. I told them that we don't run in church
because it is God's house. Gilbert said, "It is? What does He do in here?"

After church, the boys stayed with Lenell. Lenell was going out to
Bingerville this afternoon for Tammy's birthday. So, she took the boys
out to the Machs' house; they are going to spend a couple nights with
Luc while we work on packing up the house.

Bonnie slept during Sunday school and was asleep again when we got
home. She slept until we finished lunch; then, she was up the rest of
the afternoon. She played with Daddy while I took a nap.

The evening service went well. There were 25 in attendance. Joe has
been preaching a series of messages on the disciples. Tonight, he
preached about John.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
