Bonjour!

This morning, we went across the street to watch Maurus climb the coconut tree and cut the coconuts down. Mom and Dad enjoyed seeing that. Gilbert was telling the man in the tree, “Careful!” When a coconut would fall, Gilbert thought it was a ball.

We had raclette at the Litsons house today. The Engelharts came too. We had a good time of fellowship. After we did the dishes, Meganne and Allison wanted us to play a game with them. After that game, they were trying to think of a reason for us to stay longer. But, we needed to put Gilbert down for a nap. He helped Joe water plants in the yard this morning. He was worn out and ready to go down. He was helping Grandpa and Daddy hang a ceiling fan. When Grandma went to get him for his nap, he gladly handed Joe the tool and went straight to bed.

While the boys took a nap, Mom, Dad, Joe, and I played a game. Danny woke up about half way through the game.

We weren’t too hungry after our big lunch today. So, we made some popcorn. Gilbert thought that was great. Grandpa enjoyed watching Gilbert eat his popcorn. The power has gone off several times this evening. We left the candles lit for quite awhile. Just after we blew them out, it went back off again. Gilbert cheers each time that the lights come back on.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
