Bonjour,

When I woke the kids up a little before 5:00 this morning, Gilbert
looked out the window and said, "Mom, it's still night time!" As soon
as Danny heard those words, he rolled over and went back to sleep. We
managed to make it out the door at 5:20. We went to get Kristine and
Becky. We got to church around 5:45. The guy who lives at the church
was the only other person there. Kristine took some pictures for us of
our Easter outfits.

At 6:05, Joe decided to go ahead and start even though no one else was
there. Right about that time, about ten more people came. People
slowly trickled in. We ended up with over fifty. We even had some
visitors. Joe preached. Arthur preached, and Evans preached. During
the last sermon, Joe had the kids who were there go to the Sunday school
class for Sunday school. Bonnie slept through the first two sermons.
Danny was getting rather antsy after sitting still for two services.

At the end of the service, we took up an offering for Mr. Ble, a church
member who had a stroke and can't move anything on his left side. Then,
the whole church went to visit him. We all shook his hand and let him
know that we are praying for him. Joe gave him the offering and prayed
for him. Out in the courtyard, we all sang "Amazing Grace" before we left.

When we got home, I finished lunch preparations. The Luthers said that
we could eat up at their house since they have more room than we do. We
ate lunch at 1:00 and had a good time of fellowship with the Luthers,
Becky, and Kristine.

After lunch, some of us played a game. Then, we headed home. I got
about a forty-five minute nap in; no one else took one. We had our
Easter egg hunt and snacked on some of the leftover food. Everyone is
very tired now.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
