W’apow mu e,
Danny was up before 6:00 this morning.  He had already finished his homework when I got up at 6:15.

We headed to the church at 7:30 for a work day at the church.  The main project today was to white wash the outside of the church building.  We got a good start on it, but it will take a little longer than we thought it would to get it all finished.  Maybe more people will come to help next time.

The kids had fun.  The boys have been begging to paint.  They got their fill of painting today.

Bonnie and Danny both helped me in the library off and on.  They did not want to miss out on anything.

We came home, ate lunch, and took naps.  Joe went back up to the church and got things cleaned up for church tomorrow.

We all went back up to the church at 5:00 for music practice.  We are working on getting a group ready to sing two songs at the funeral for Brother Blay which will be at the end of the month.  Brother Evans brought a couple people from his church who can sing.  We worked on “Amazing Grace” tonight.  There were five singers and me.  I played the parts on the keyboard. (I don’t do too well at playing the actual song, but I can play one part at a time.)  The alto and the tenor were having a little trouble, but they were starting to catch on.  I sang the alto part to help her out.  We brought the keyboard home from the church so that I can practice this week.  We did not work on the second song at all tonight; I need to play through the parts on it a few times.  Maybe I can get the accompaniment down if I practice enough.

The boys bought a little race track with two cars yesterday with their money.  Joe put the track together for them tonight.  They had fun with that after supper.
