This morning, I woke up at 8:15. We had more power issues last night, but thankfully it came back on sometime after midnight. Once I had gotten up, I did a few things in my room before going out. Once I was done in my room, I made some cereal and enjoyed a nice breakfast. After breakfast, I played on the Wii some. The Ruckmans were able to bring back a cord to get it working again. I had a good time with that.

Missionary on Fire Podcast

Preserving the Legacy of Faithful Missionaries

The Missionary on Fire podcast features interviews with veteran missionaries, classic sermons from the field, and stories of God’s faithfulness across generations. If you love the heart behind these stories, you will love the podcast. New episodes regularly.

I did not do too much in the morning because I did not want to wake the Ruckmans. I did put some dishes away and try to do as much as I could before the Ruckmans got up. They are trying to get back into the Ghana time zone; that takes awhile. I heated up some leftover burgers for my lunch and then enjoyed a bit of a slow afternoon until the guys were ready to head over to Mpatado.

Once they were ready, I got my stuff ready and headed over to meet them. We had a good time and focused more today on passing out tracts than we did on talking one on one with people. We invited several people to come; so, we will see who all rides the tro-tro in the morning. Once I got back to the house, the Ruckmans and I heated up some of the leftovers from Mrs. Sally’s meal she had made. Everything was delicious!!! After supper, we cleaned up, and from there the Ruckmans headed up to their room. Bro. Ruckman is getting his things ready to preach tomorrow, but I am sure they will not be up too much longer because they will want as much sleep as possible before the busy Sunday schedule.
