Bonjour,

I am feeling better today than I did yesterday.  I'm still tired and achy but on the road to recovery.
We did school this morning.  The boys had some projects for Father's Day today.  Gilbert had a card and an egg-carton turtle to make.  Our egg containers here are a little different; it is just an open flat.  But, we made it work.  Danny had a play-dough hand print to do.  I made play dough, and all the kids did a hand print.  We decided that the play dough would probably never dry here with all of the rain and humidity.  We took a picture of the hand prints and let Daddy see them.  Then, the kids played with the play dough.  That kept Bonnie busy for quite a while.  She made cakes and houses and all kinds of things with her play dough.  We are down to six more days of school.
Joe went over to the Siekberts' house today to try to get their pump up and going.  They get back on June 15.  He got it working.  He just needs to put some check valves in.
The power went off at lunch time and was off for a couple hours.  It came back on just after we went down for naps.
After naps, the boys went to play with the Luthers.  Bonnie stayed here.  She was busy with her play dough while I made supper.  We tried a ranch pizza tonight.  It was good.
Danny got to choose the popcorn flavor for tonight.  He wanted ranch, but since we had ranch for supper, he decided on caramel.  It was yummy!
Gilbert and Danny were trying to make Musketeer hats out of handkerchiefs tonight.  Danny said, "Does this look like a real Musketeer hat?" with a little flap hanging down in front of his head.
Bonnie came running out of the room to get the brothers to come see something "cool."  She had built a house for them out of blocks.  She was so pleased with herself.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
