W'apow mu e,

Joe took the kids to school.  Then, he went into town to get a couple things done.  He lost the filling in his tooth.  He was going to try to see the dentist today, but the dentist had traveled to Accra.  So, he is supposed to go to the dentist on Monday.

I had more kidney stone trouble this morning.  It seems to have passed now.

The kids had a good day at school.  It was raining when they got home.  That did not stop them from going outside.  They got their umbrellas out.  It didn't rain for long.

The kids don't have school tomorrow.  It is not a holiday; they just needed a day to regroup.  We have not been to the ocean in quite a while.  So, we are planning to take the kids to the ocean tomorrow and eat lunch at the restaurant where the monkey is.

Joe met with a Fante teacher this evening.  Joe and I will start Fante classes with him on Tuesday.  We are going to study with him three days a week for two hours a day.  When the kids are out of school in December, we will take a break from our studies and then resume them when they go back to school in January.  The man said that he is a Fante and culture professor.  It sounds like we have finally found a teacher.  Hooray!

After supper, Bonnie was upset about something.  She went to her room and fell asleep on the floor.  She woke up about an hour later and was a grouch until she heard that we are going to the ocean tomorrow.  Then, she was all smiles.  Danny fell asleep in the chair before bed time.

Nantsew yie!
