W'apow mu e,

This morning, I awoke with a start!  It was 06:45 and the house was too quiet!  I got up to check on the kids and no one was in the house!  All three of them were outside playing quietly and being good.  Wow!  They scared me.

We had mom's old favorite for breakfast, hot coco and toast!  Mrs. Van Manen used to make this on Saturday mornings for Laura when she was little.  When we were eating Bonnie was tearing pieces of toast and talking to them.  I said, "Bonnie you are a cutie!"  She said, "What about the brothers?"  I said that they were cuties too.  To which she responded, "Cuties are for girls, but my brothers are cools!"

Me and the kids went visiting this morning.  Dan had to go to a wedding with his father.  So, it was just me and the kids.  Along the way some kids recognized Bonnie and started following us chanting, "Bonnie, Bonnie, Bonnie!"  Bonnie looked at me and said, "Dad, they are going to keep saying that until my name is finished!"  Several groups of ladies were very nice to us and allowed us to witness to them.  One lady gave some cookies to the kids and said that they were her friends.  We had a good time.

After visitation we went to a store that is nearby.  We all got drinks and snacks and then we headed home.  It started to rain just as we got home.

We had left overs for lunch.  Don't worry, I had Gilbert smell all of them before we reheated them.  They all passed his inspection.

I worked on my sermons for tomorrow while the kids took naps.

We vacuumed the pool and then the kids went for a swim.

This evening we played games and watched some tv.  Now we are all ready for church tomorrow!  I hope!  I just hope the kids do better this week without mom than they did last week.  As Gilbert pointed out today, "One week from tomorrow!  That ain't so long, but man, it is seven whole days!

Nantsew yie!
