Bonjour,
Joe and Dan made it back this afternoon. They got back to Abidjan about
10:00. They dropped the three guys off who went with them. The men all
brought back lots of vegetables from the village. Joe said that the
vehicle was really loaded down. They picked up some pizza in town and
brought that home for lunch.
The boys went swimming again this morning. Gilbert said he didn't want
to swim at first. But after he heard the other boys out there having
fun, he decided he wanted to swim too. Jimmy said that Danny is about
ready to swim on his own. He held Danny on his stomach, and Danny went
to town with his arms and legs. Gilbert still doesn't like it when his
head goes under.
I made a couple desserts for our election result watch party this
evening. Jennifer did the dishes for me.

The Posts went home after lunch. We invited them to stay to watch the
election results, but they get CNN at their house too. So, they headed
home.
Joe is still having problems with his stomach and is not feeling very
well. He got a nap in this evening so that he could get back up to
watch some of the election results.
Lenell and the Engelharts came over to watch the election results with
us. It is 11:00 P.M. here, and the first polls are just beginning to
close. It will be a long night here.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
