Things went as they normally do today. I woke up, ate breakfast, and went to church with the kids from Mpatado. We had a good Sunday school and morning service. After the service, I went home with the kids who came from Mpatado and then walked back to the house.
Missionary on Fire Podcast
Preserving the Legacy of Faithful Missionaries
The Missionary on Fire podcast features interviews with veteran missionaries, classic sermons from the field, and stories of God’s faithfulness across generations. If you love the heart behind these stories, you will love the podcast. New episodes regularly.
The Ruckmans went to visit a young couple and their newborn daughter. The mother and daughter are still in the hospital, but, Lord willing, they will be going home soon. Once the Ruckmans got to the house, they worked on lunch. We had delicious pork chops, mashed potatoes, and some vegetables. We also had some delicious cinnamon rolls for dessert.
After lunch, we had a good afternoon. Once we were ready, we headed to church. We did not have choir practice today, but I did get to fly my drone for a while before church. We had a really good service and then headed home.
Once we got back to the house, I talked to my family for a while. The power did go off for a bit, but thankfully it is back on now. I have just gotten cleaned up and am about to head to bed.

We hope you have a cool, restful night. Easter Sunday was good here too! Jr Church was a bit unsettled today. I wonder if it was Easter candy. Love you and praying for you.
