Bonjour,
This week, several people from the Anyama church have been having VBS out in the village of Donkoi. They expected about 80 children from Donkoi. They also invited the children from the neighboring village, which is about a three-mile hike through the jungle. On Tuesday morning, a group of 85 children from the neighboring village showed up in Donkoi for VBS. That was a shock!
Today they had a special day by the river. It is about a quarter of a mile hike through the jungle from Donkoi to the river. The Engelharts’ vehicle is still down. So, Joe took the Engelharts, Lenell, and two of the Post boys. It rained almost all day. But, they still met by the river as planned. They had a good day in spite of the rain.
When Joe got home, he was sick. He started out with a headache this morning, but it got progressively worse throughout the day. He had chills and felt like he was going to vomit. He slept for a couple hours and is feeling a little better.

I spent most of the day in the kitchen getting the last few things ready to take to the Posts tomorrow.
Tonight is our last night to have the Post boys. We have enjoyed having them here. We will meet their parents in Abidjan tomorrow after the morning services.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
