This morning, I got up and got ready for the day. After getting ready, I went downstairs, had some breakfast, and then came back up to my room to do some more preparation for my message.

After working on that for a while, the landlord arrived to do some more work. He only stayed for about two hours today, which was nice. After they left, I ate some leftover Pizza Hut for lunch and then stayed in my room for a while. A little while after they left, the power went off. It stayed off for about two hours.

Missionary on Fire Podcast

Preserving the Legacy of Faithful Missionaries

The Missionary on Fire podcast features interviews with veteran missionaries, classic sermons from the field, and stories of God’s faithfulness across generations. If you love the heart behind these stories, you will love the podcast. New episodes regularly.

Once it came back on, I went up to my room and got a little bit of a rest with the ac; then, it was time to eat supper and get ready for church. I had decided earlier in the day that I wanted to walk to church. So, once I was ready, I left the house at 6:00 P.M. It took me exactly 33 minutes and 33 second to walk to church. It ended up only being 1.67 miles, which was not bad at all.

Once I got to the church, I sat down and reviewed my notes while I tried to cool down with one of my little fans. I definitely did not get too hot; but just walking outside will cause a sweat, especially in Ghana. We started the service right on time. We had a good song service and prayer request time. Once we had finished that, the kids went to their class, and I started preaching.

The service went well. Unfortunately, I did not see that you all wanted a video until after the service. I will do my best to do a Facebook live video next week of the service and my preaching. Again, I am very sorry.

After the service, I was able to get a taxi ride home. I am now in my room typing the blog. Once the water heater warms up, I am off to get cleaned up; then, I will be heading to bed. Tomorrow should be the last day that the landlord needs to come, but we will see.
