Bonjour,

Today is Danny's 5th birthday.  He was up at 5:25 this morning ready to go.  He said, "Mom, since I'm five now, I bet I can run fast!" as he took off running in circles around the living room.
Joe took the kids to school.  Then, he came back home to get me.  We went into town to run errands, go grocery shopping, and meet the Morgans for lunch.  By the time we finished with lunch, it was time to go get the kids from school.  I went upstairs to take a picture of Danny with his class.  Bonnie's teacher saw me in the hallway and told Bonnie that she had a surprise for her – me.  Bonnie was happy to see me.  She came to Danny's classroom and got in the picture.  The cupcakes were a big hit.
When we got home, Joe had to go to the church for a meeting.  Danny and Gilbert were eagerly awaiting his arrival because Danny couldn't open presents until Daddy got back.  Danny had fun opening his presents.  Gilbert was just as excited as Danny was.  We got it on video.
Danny had requested Grandma's meatballs and rice for supper.  I got a cake in the oven and then worked on the meatballs.  We finished supper and quickly got ready for church.
We had a good church service with eight in attendance.  During the testimony time, Danny said, "I praise the Lord for my birthday and my presents.  Oh, I praise the Lord for mom's cupcakes too."
We had cake and ice cream when we got home from church.  Then, it was bed time for the kids.  I feel like it is bed time too!
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
