Bonjour!

This morning, I had to go to the clinic for a check-up. We took Danny with us. Gilbert stayed with Nana.

We arrived at the clinic a little before 8:00 and saw the doctor a little after 9:00. He said that everything looks good. He checked Danny too. He explained about jaundice to us. Danny was quite yellow, but he is looking better today. We will take Danny back to the clinic on Monday to be circumcised. He has to go for a shot on Wednesday; then, we should be done with the clinics for awhile.

We ran a couple errands on our way home. Gilbert and Nana were outside waiting for us when we pulled in. Gilbert had a good time playing with Nana while we were gone.

When we got home, one of my ankles was swollen. So, Joe got an ice pack and helped me prop my foot up. Then, he made lunch.

After lunch, everyone took a nap except for Joe. After nap time, the swelling had gone down in my foot.

We all went for a walk to the Siekberts’ house. Joe needed to check on the chicken coup that their worker is building. Gilbert likes to go over there to see the dog and the monkey.

This evening, Gilbert played with Daddy until they were both worn out. Danny woke up for a little bit; he didn’t want to miss out on all of the action.

Gilbert has decided that he really likes baths. Several times throughout the day, he says, “Bath, bath.” Nana gave him a bath tonight.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
