Dad is Here!

This morning, I woke up ready to go to the airport to get Dad, but I had to wait a few hours before we could go. In the mean time, I stayed at the house while the Ruckmans went out to do something.

Once they got back, we waited about an hour; then, Bro. Ruckman and I went to the mall and grocery store before heading to the airport. Our phone data was down all morning; so, we did not know whether he had taken off or not. After his arrival time had come and gone, we began to wonder. Finally, the data came back on, and Dad was able to get a text through saying his plane had been delayed forty minutes. He was supposed to arrive at 12:40, but ended up arriving around 2:00 P.M.

I was really excited to see him after almost eleven months. We then drove to KFC and got some lunch before heading back to the house. We were able to fellowship for a while before Dad headed up to take a shower and rest for a while. After we had all rested a while, we headed back out to eat supper.

We ate at a really nice restaurant, Noble House. It was fun to get to caught up and have some good laughs. We are now back at the house. We have all retired to our rooms for the evening. I have just gotten cleaned up and am about to head to bed after a very exciting day. 😁😁😁
