This morning, Gilbert went with Joe up to the church. The carpenters are still working on the framework for the roof. If the weather holds, they should be able to finish the roof by Saturday. It will be nice to have that building for Sunday school.

Danny took a nap this morning. When Gilbert came home and ran through the hallway saying, “Good boy!,” Danny woke up.

Joe preached tonight. It rained through the entire service. When it rains on that tin roof, it is difficult to hear what is being said. There is no P.A. system. They moved the pulpit down closer to the people; that helped a little. It was a good service in spite of the rain.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
