This morning, I woke up at 8:00, then got ready for church. Once I was ready, I went downstairs. Mrs. Angie had a plate with eggs and toast ready for me. It was very good!!! After breakfast, we left for church.

We had great services!!! We had our normal Sunday school hour; then, we had our Christmas play and a short service. (If you would like to watch the play, it is on my Facebook page. I recorded it live.) After the play, each kid got a cookie and a soda, and the adults got a Malta and a meat pie. Once we were done at the church, we headed home.

For lunch we had chicken, potatoes, and carrots. Everything tasted delicious!!! After lunch, I went up to my room, talked to my parents and sibling for a little bit, and took a long nap. My head is not feeling too good; so, I thought a nap might help. After my nap, I still had a headache; but it was not so bad that I could not do anything. Once we were all ready for church, we were out the door.

We had a great evening service. We sang songs as usual; then, Bro. Ruckman read the Christmas story with all the kids in a circle around him. After the service, we passed out some candy and then stayed for a few minutes. After we left the church, we went to the grocery store for a few things. I sat in the truck because my head was still hurting pretty badly. When we got home, I took some medicine for my headache; then, we ate supper. After supper, the Ruckmans were able to talk with their kids and grandkids for a little while. They got to watch their grandkids open presents, and they had a good time. I also enjoyed watching them talk to their grandkids. It is always so funny to hear grandparents and parents talk with their silly voices, trying to get the kids to smile. 🙂

I am now in my room. I have just finished cleaning up for the night and am looking forward to a good night’s rest. I am hoping to be feeling better in the morning, especially since it is Christmas!!!
