Bonjour,
This morning, Bonnie was singing her own rendition of songs that she has heard the boys sing. We were talking about the rainbow and the promise that God made. Bonnie started singing, “Oh, who can make a rainbow? I sure can’t; did you?” Then, she went into, “Glory, glory, glory; glory to the land. Oh Halleyulah, I am saved…” We had a good time at church.
Danny has discovered that he can lift Gilbert bench-press style lying on his back. He said, “I’m more musclier, right Dad?” Danny is four, and Gilbert is six. Danny is bigger and stronger, and Gilbert is faster and more coordinated.
We had lunch and tried to get naps in before Bible club. Danny and Bonnie both went to sleep and weren’t quite sure if they wanted to wake up for Bible club or not, but they made it.
Missions With the Consfords
Ghana Field Journal — Serving the Lord for Over 25 Years
These daily journal entries document the Consfords’ missionary life across Ivory Coast and Ghana. Browse the full archive or join the Consfords as a prayer partner.
We had a good church service this evening as well.
Please continue to pray for the people of Ivory Coast. The young Gbagbo supporters known as the Young Patriots chased the UN from the airport today and have also taken control of both bridges. They were making their way to the presidential palace to be a human shield around the palace.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
