Bonjour,
I got sick last night and was up most of the night. Danny came in at 3:00 and thought that it was time to get up. He said, "Mom, you forgot to make lunches for school."
Joe got up and made the lunches and breakfast. He got the kids ready for school and took them to school.
It seems that the cellulitis from the bite a couple weeks ago has returned. We talked to a doctor in the States and described the symptoms. He said that I should take an antibiotic for a longer period of time. A couple hours after I started taking the antibiotic, I felt a little better. I haven't thrown up any more today. Hopefully I am on the mend.
Someone from the school called about 11:30 and said that Danny was complaining about his eyes hurting. Joe went to see what the problem was. His eyes weren't red at all. Joe gave him some allergy medicine, and Danny went back to class.
Joe picked the kids up from school this afternoon. The kids went up to play with the Luther kids. Joe went and picked up some manaiche (Lebanese cheese pizza) for supper. Just as we were sitting down for supper, the power went off. It was off last night too for several hours. This is the dry season, and most of the electricity comes from the Volta River Dam. We will probably have more "load shedding" until the rainy starts in May or June.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
