Bonjour,

Joe and Bob Engelhart left the house at 7:00 this morning to get to the
town hall in Abidjan when it opened at 8:00. Joe needed to pick up
Bonnie's Ivorian birth certificate. It looks much more official than
Danny's Ghanaan one did. Then, they had to go to several ATMs before
they found one that had money in it.

Joe got home about 9:30. The Posts arrived around 10:30. Joe had
invited Dan to preach tonight; so, we decided to make a day of it. The
boys swam this morning and then again after lunch. Gilbert was so
excited that the boys were coming.

This morning, Gilbert was the first one to come inside from the pool.
He said, "I'm cold. Mommy, those boys splashed me in the face." He
isn't used to so many boys in the pool at once. But, he was ready to
get back out there after lunch. Danny thought it was great. He didn't
want to miss out on any action.

Jennifer enjoyed holding Bonnie. Bonnie slept quite a bit, but Jennifer
did get to see her with her eyes opened a few times.

Jennifer brought lunch. We had roast, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, and
rolls. I made pizza for supper; we ate that after church.

Church went well this evening. There were 49 in attendance, and one
person got saved.

We had a good time of fellowship as we ate our pizza and brownies.
Then, the Posts headed home. They had to get back through the
checkpoint on their side of Abidjan before it closed for the night.
They just called a few minutes ago to tell us that they made it home safely.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
