We had a great missions conference at Lukfata Baptist Church in Broken Bow.
We drove on Monday to Oklahoma City to spend a couple of days at Laura's parents' house. We had a good visit with them. Pray for Laura's dad. He has a large tumor on his back, and it is cancer. We got to be with them when he went for his first consultation with the radiologist. They are going to start radiation at the end of March, and the radiation will last for several weeks. Then they will do surgery to remove the tumor. The doctor is saying that he will lose most of the use of his right arm permanently after the surgery. Pray that the doctor is wrong and that the radiation will shrink the tumor more than expected so the surgery will not be as invasive.
We left Oklahoma City early Wednesday morning and drove to Quincy, Illinois. On the way, we got to stop for lunch with my sister in Columbia, Missouri. We had a great visit with my sister and her family and then headed on to Quincy for church. It was amazing to be in church with our friend Jason Moncofsky and his family. We went out to eat after the service and had a great time of fellowship with the assistant pastor and his wife. They have a young family, and we enjoyed fellowship and playing with the babies at the restaurant.
We left Quincy early the next morning and drove to Elgin. Gilbert is turning 21 this week, and we wanted to see him for his birthday. We got to visit with him and enjoy a couple of days with him and his friends at Providence Baptist College.
On Saturday, we drove to Oak Creek, Wisconsin. My friend Dean Noonan is the pastor here, and we are very excited to be in this church's missions conference. Sunday, it started raining, the rain turned to sleet on Sunday evening, and the sleet turned to snow on Monday morning.
A BLIZZARD in March is not legal in the USA!
There is a drift behind my truck more than 3 feet deep! I think we got 7 to 8 inches of snow this morning. We have services this evening, and on Tuesday, I will preach in the school chapel and hold evening services. On Wednesday, we have a meeting in Springfield, Missouri, and on Sunday, we have a meeting in the morning service in Artesia, New Mexico. Then on Sunday evening, we will be in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Pray for us as we have lots of miles to drive in the next few days.

Love to hear of your trips. Snow is amazing
