Bonjour,
Joe went to a wedding this morning. One of the men whom we taught in Bible Institute a few years ago was getting married at Brother Morgan's church today. After the wedding was over, Joe and Dan went to the church to begin getting things set up for church tomorrow after the construction this week.
We only had seven for Bible Club this morning. About ten more showed up after we were done.
The kids and I took a nap. Everyone was tired from our trip yesterday. Joe went back up to the church for a while. Gilbert decided to try to start a fire on his own. Joe had just talked to him about fires the other day and told him that an adult had to be with him. Bonnie came to report that Gilbert was starting a fire. She went to tell him to come inside. He came in with a box of matches behind his back. He had to sit in a chair in his bedroom until Daddy got home. I don't think he will try that again!
There was a good turn out for the Bible Club at the church this afternoon. We have been having several children come to church on Sunday as a result of that Bible Club.
Joe requested beans and rice for supper. I made cornbread too. That was not Danny's favorite meal. He got it down but just barely!
Bonnie fell asleep in Joe's lap after supper. Danny was watching Peter Pan. I let them watch the end of it from bed; they thought that was great!
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
