Bonjour,

Joe and Matt went visiting this morning.  Most of Joe’s class came to the church; so, they didn’t need to visit them.  Matt had a sore throat and wasn’t feeling well.  They came home a little bit earlier than normal.

We are all feeling better today.

This afternoon, Sarah had invited the ladies from the church to come to her house to learn how to make papaya muffins and banana bread.  They had asked about learning how to make some things.  Seven ladies came.  Two girls came with them to show them where the Litsons lived; they played with the Litson girls.  Two of the ladies brought their babies.  So, we had a good turn out.

I showed them how to do the papaya muffins, and Sarah made banana muffins with them.  The only problem is that none of the ladies have an oven.  They were discussing different ways that they could “bake” them over a fire.  We had a little banana dough leftover.  So, they wanted to try frying it.  We learned today that you can fry banana bread.  We made little balls, and it was actually quite tasty that way.

The Anyama church had some sessions for couples today.  Bob and Margie were up there for that.  They got home just as the ladies were leaving.  So, we went for a walk.  We took the shorter route tonight since it was later than normal.
