This morning, I woke up at 7:00. After waking up, I stayed in my room for about an hour before going downstairs. I woke up with the pains, but they were not as bad as they were yesterday. Once I got downstairs, I had some cereal for breakfast. After breakfast, I went back up to my room to rest.

I have been texting my mom and dad on what to do because I want to get over this sickness as quickly as possible. The landlord came by the house around 10:30 A.M. with another man to work on the leak for a while.

Preserving the Legacy of Faithful Missionaries

The Missionary on Fire podcast features interviews with veteran missionaries, classic sermons from the field, and stories of God’s faithfulness across generations. If you love the heart behind these stories, you will love the podcast. New episodes regularly.

Once it got close to lunch time, I made some sandwiches, took my medicine, and went back up to my room. I helped the landlord get a few things; but other than that, I stayed in my room. He and his worker left around two and will be coming back tomorrow to continue their work. I spent most of the day resting except for the few things I did around the house.

I started working on supper around 5:00 P.M. I texted my mom, and she walked me through what to do to make potato soup. It took me a little while to make, but it turned out really good. After supper, I washed the dishes and cleaned up the kitchen.

Once everything was cleaned up, and after I had locked up, I went back ip to my room. I had not been in my room long, and the power went off. This is the third time today it has gone off. The last two times, it was only off for a few minutes, but it seems to be lasting longer this time.

If the power comes back on, I’ll be getting cleaned up, then heading to bed. I am sleeping in my recliner tonight to prevent anything from settling in my lungs from this cold or whatever it is.

Praying for your complete recovery. Drink lots! Rest. I am still moving things around to settle things back in place. Danny helped move our bed around. It always helps tomove things to clean under and around. Hope tomorrow is better for you. We are so glad that you have a good recliner so you can get a little sleep. We love you!
