We had a slow but good day. I was able to get a good rest in the heat of the afternoon because we had power. After I rested for a while, Bro. Ruckman sent me out to try to find plantain so that Mrs. Angie could prepare it for supper. I walked 2.89 miles, and all I found was plantains that were not ripened yet. Mrs. Angie was still able to make a delicious meal, even though we did not have the plantain.
After supper, I helped with the dishes, then headed up to my room. I was really expecting the power to be out by now, but thank God we still have power. I was able to get cleaned up after my long walk; so, I am all ready for bed.
I guess that is all for today. Until tomorrow. 😉
