Bonjour,

This morning, we got a few things done around the house. Around 11:00, we took the boys over to the Litsons’ house. Sarah kept them for us today so that we could do some birthday shopping for Danny.

We went to a different restaurant today. They serve several different types of food; one of them is Mexican. The things that we had were very good.

Then, we went to Sicomex. We found a couple things for Danny there.

Our next stop was the bulk store. There is a missionary fellowship on Friday at the Machs’ church. So, we were going to buy some drinks, plates, etc. But, the bulk store was closed due to a Muslim holiday. We tried to go to the other bulk store, but it was also closed. Oh well, we’ll have to make another trip to get those items.

We went to some little souvenir stands across from one of the bulk stores. I found a few gifts to take with us to the States.

Our last stop was at the mall. We had some icecream. Then, we picked up a few things at the grocery store. It is inside the mall; so, they weren’t closed today. We picked up another bottle of Gilbert’s fungus medicine. Then, we headed home.

Danny was glad to see us. Gilbert told us “Hello” and went back to playing with the girls.

About thirty minutes later, Joe and Matt headed back into Abidjan. They went to the airport to help Bob Mach transport a group from his church that was arriving tonight.

After we went for a walk with Margie, Sarah, and the girls, the boys and I went home. Danny took a short nap this afternoon, but he was tired again. He and Gilbert both fell asleep for about an hour.

I just talked to Joe. They are on their way home.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Dannyc
