This morning, I woke up at 7:30. Once I was ready for the day, I went down and ate a few muffins for breakfast. We left for church shortly after breakfast. Once we got to church, we made sure everything was ready to go and started right on time. We had good services.

Preserving the Legacy of Faithful Missionaries

The Missionary on Fire podcast features interviews with veteran missionaries, classic sermons from the field, and stories of God’s faithfulness across generations. If you love the heart behind these stories, you will love the podcast. New episodes regularly.

After the service, we walked to one of the young girl’s house. Her mother recently passed away; so, we went by the house to give our condolences to the family. Once we had finished there, we headed to the house. Mrs. Angie had beans and Kelewele ready. Everything was delicious!!!

After lunch, I went up to my room for the afternoon. I was able to get a good nap in before we headed off to church. Once we got there, we had a meeting with the leadership of the church and then started our normal service. We got to listen to two of the church boys preach a short message. God is really working in both of their hearts; so, it was a blessing to get to listen to them. Once they had preached, we separated the ladies and the guys. Mrs. Angie taught the ladies, and Bro. Ruckman taught the men. Our service was good. I am not really sure about the ladies, but I am sure it went well.

After the service, a young boy got saved. I got to play American football outside with some of the kids, which is pretty fun. Once we had finished up at the church, we headed home. Mrs. Angie prepared a delicious pizza concoction, and I made one of my mom’s specialties for dessert, Pannekoeken. (We call them Dutch pancakes.) After we had eaten, we watched a show for a little while; then, we parted ways for the evening. It is currently 11:08 P.M.; so, I am off to get cleaned up; then, I will be going to sleep.

  2. It is exciting to watch the transformation in others. It motivates us to do more for Christ.
