Bonjour,

We had good services today. Joe preached on Tithing in the morning service. The national pastor preached at another church in the Abidjan area this morning.

We started out with four in the nursery and ended up with eleven. There were some puddles in the entryway that Danny kept trying to get into. He loves to play with water and dirt! Gilbert is learning some of the French songs. If he doesn’t know the words, he just makes them up as he goes along. That doesn’t keep him from singing loudly though. He is just happy to be “singing.”

After lunch, we all took a nap. Danny fell alseep on the way home and slept through lunch.

Max preached this evening. He brought another message on Tithing. That ends the Tithing Conference. There are several new Christians who did not understand the concept of tithing. Joe said that one lady in particular was just soaking up all of the information like a sponge this morning. It is a blessing to see people excited about learning things and then putting them into practice.

It started raining hard about halfway through the service this evening. Gilbert jumped up and grabbed my neck each time that it thundered. He said, “Tunder!” but he couldn’t be heard above the rain beating on the tin roof.

The Litsons’ anniversary service went well this morning. They had 115 in attendance with 8 adult visitors.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny

P.S. If you have missed any of the daily emails or monthly prayer letters, we are now posting them to a website. You can read them by clicking here http://consford.blogless.org ! We hope this keeps every one up to date with the news from Ivory Coast.
