Bonjour,
We keep thinking that the rainy season is coming to an end; then, it starts raining again. We won’t complain. The rain makes it cooler! It rained most of the day today.
Joe went visiting with Alfred this morning. They had some good visits. They visited some people that haven’t been coming to church lately. One family that they visited asked them to stay for lunch. Joe didn’t mind. They were having fried fish and atchike (pounded and steamed manioc root).
We woke the boys up from their naps today so that we could go into town to get groceries. Bob and Margie needed to go as well because their vehicle is still down. Joe is going to Ghana with Dan Post on Monday to drive an extra vehicle back. They will come back on Tuesday. So, we needed to get a few things before Joe heads out. We got pizza for supper and brought it home with us.

Gilbert was rather quiet on the way to town because he wasn’t quite awake yet. But, he made up for it on the way home. He was telling me and Margie about all of the animals that he saw at the zoo yesterday. It was too much excitement for Danny to handle; he fell asleep.
Gilbert was ready for his pizza as soon as we walked in the door. He likes pizza!
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
