Bonjour,

This morning, Joe went visiting but did not find anyone at home.  No one was around to go with him today.
The silverware drawer in the kitchen has needed new runners for quite some time.  We thought we would have to have someone get the runners in the States.  But, Joe found a place that had them today, and they only cost about $2.50.  It is great to have that drawer back in working order!  The silverware drawer gets a lot of use!
The dryer is up to its tricks again.  It runs for twenty minutes or so.  Then, it shuts off and won't come back on for about an hour.  I still have one load in the dryer that isn't quite dry.  Oh well!  Maybe the rainy season is about to come to an end; then, I can use the outside clothes lines again.  We have had an unusually long rainy season.  It started in May and is still going.  Usually it only lasts for about two months.
The kids did some cleaning this morning.  Their projects today were their bedroom and the porch.  They all had fun scrubbing spots on the porch.
All three kids had homework today.  Bonnie had a page of A's and a page of 1's.  She acted like she had never seen either one before.  I told her what they were and was saying a saying to help her remember how to make it.  Then, when I asked her what letter it was, she said, "A ball with a stick," instead of "a."  At least something stuck with her.  She is only three; so, she has plenty of time!  : )
After naps, we had Bible club.  The new kids who came last week were back today; the regulars did not come again.  It was the first partially sunny day that we have had in a while.  The kids stayed and played for a while after Bible club.
Kristine made supper tonight.  After supper, we watched Monk.  The kids took baths and are picking up in their bedroom before bedtime.
Bonnie asked for some milk.  I told her that Danny would get it for her.  She said, "Danny is not a good milker, Mom."
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
