Bonjour,
Thank you to everyone who sent birthday greetings for Gilbert. He had a
good day.
We had Dunkin' donuts this morning, as per Gilbert's request. He wanted
a chocolate cowboy cake. I asked him what color of frosting he wanted;
he said pink. I talked him into blue pants and a red shirt. I am not a
great cake decorator; so, it looked more like a clown than a cowboy, but
Gilbert thought it looked good. He wanted tacos with big meat,
otherwise known as fajitas, for lunch.
Joe went visiting this morning. The man who they had gone to see on
Sunday night about beating his wife got saved today.

Gilbert was chomping at the bit to open his presents. Joe had to leave
right after lunch to go into Abidjan to get money. He went the back way
today and was able to get to Abidjan without any trouble. So, Gilbert
had to wait until after church tonight to open presents.
Gilbert got a Scooby-Doo watch. When he opened it, Danny said, "Where's
mine?"
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
