W'apow mu e,

We all got to go to church today!  Thank you to everyone who has been praying for me.  I am feeling much better.

We had a good day at church.  It was cloudy, and we started out with about ten people.  But, we had a good crowd by church time.  In my Sunday School class, we started with just our three kids and had thirty-two in there by church time.

While Joe was out visiting yesterday, several people asked him if he had been to visit Julieanna.  He had never even met Julieanna.  She used to attend the church but has not attended since before we came.  When Joe went to visit a different member, guess who was at their house?  Julieanna!  Joe talked to her and invited her to come back to church.  She came this morning.  When the invitation was given, she immediately raised her hand for salvation.  Another lady who comes pretty regularly also raised her hand for salvation.  They both came forward and got saved this morning.  What a blessing!

During lunch, Joe was telling a story about a soldier.  He mentioned that the young man had lied about his age to get into the Army.  Danny was not tuned in to the rest of the story because he didn't know why someone would lie about their age.  After that, we were talking about birth certificates that told when and where you were born.  Joe was telling each child that they had a birth certificate;  then, he said that we both had one too.  When he said that Mom was born in Independence, Missouri, Gilbert said, "That is a special place; well, at least it sounds important!"

We had a good service this evening with fifteen in attendance.

Nantsew yie!
